What has happened to the option of being able to get an email notification when a post is replied to? I have the new 3.3 version installed and noticed that option is no longer there when posting. Is there something I am missing?
No, that option is now called topic subscription. If you look beneath the links for New and Reply to topic, you will see a subscribe link, if topic subscription is allowed in that forum.
Some forums may allow you to subscribe to the whole forum, or even an entire category
