I've seen the same problem. It has something to do with the additions made related to this thread:

Also the page says trying to upgrade an Acess 97 dbf but I have Access2000
Any suggestions.

Provider error '80004005'
Unspecified error

/forums/inc_functions.asp, line 1760

(When opening default.asp.)

I log in, and get:

Provider error '80004005'

Unspecified error

/forums/inc_top.asp, line 40

And when I try to go to setup.asp, I get:

The database could not be opened !!
Code : -2147467259

Odd thing is.. I've got the <b>exact</b> same installation on PWS on my home machine and it runs flawlessly.

Potential IIS configuration issue?

Quick addition: I just re-installed v3.1sr2 on the web server, and got this:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Could not use '(unknown)'; file already in use.

/forums/inc_functions.asp, line 1802

when loading default.asp.

Anyone else have any input?

hadfield, I don't know if we have addressed this in the new beta, but you are welcome to try it on one of the servers that didn't work... and let us know if it works now :)
