I'm having intermittent problems logging in and logging out. Sometimes when I login, it tell's me I've logged in, I go back to the Forum entries, and I'm no longer logged in.
Yesterday, for a time, I couldn't log out of my Admin account, it said I had successfully logged out, but upon returning to the forum, I'm logged back in as Admin.
This is maddening! Anyone know why this may be happening?
Setting Up Forum Moderators

I can't seem to add any moderators to my forum folders, I go to the Admin Options, select the Mod options, select the folder, and the only Member listed is Admin. I have five other users but they never appear for any folder. Am I being stupid on this one?

ok, first problem here is a cookie issue, if you're running IE6 go into the internet options, go to the privacy tab and change the setting there to low, if you're using any other version of IE you want to delete the contents of your Temporary Internet Files folder
As far as your second problem what i think is going on is that you haven't change any of your members to moderators
To do this, log in as admin, click on members, then, next to the name of the person you want to be a moderator, click the edit option, you'll find an option in here called member level, change this to moderator then hit submit, after that go back into your moderator set up and you'll be able to pick this person as a moderator

Right, cookies don't seem to be the problem here. I rebooted my computer into DOS and did a deltree on the content.ie5 folder, rebooted into windows, went to the forum again (ie5.5 - the same browser I access this forum with), with security settings at low, and still I cannot login... I'm starting to get worried about this now...
As for the moderator solution, thank you, I'll try that when I can login again!

Tut-tut, double post.
Right, I can login using Opera 5, so it is definitely a IE5.5 issue. I think I'll wipe my content.ie5 folder again, and this time take out my history too, I'll be back to report any changes.

you don't want to just delete the content.ie5 folder, you wanted to delete everything out of the Temporary Internet Files folder pictures, docs, cookies, sub folders everything

Ah, yes. That is where the confusion lay.
I went to Internet Temporary Folder and the cookies were still there, so I deleted them, went back, and it worked!
