Hi all,
I'm trying to setup the Slash MOD but it's not working. The instruction says to include:
<!-- #INCLUDE FILE="../config.asp" --> <!-- #INCLUDE FILE="../inc_functions.asp" --> <!-- #INCLUDE FILE="../mods/slash.asp" -->
on te page where you want the Slash MOD to work.
While having my Intranet and the Snitz forum running on seperate servers I tried:
<!-- #INCLUDE FILE="http://the_other_server/config.asp" --> <!-- #INCLUDE FILE="http://the_other_server/inc_functions.asp" --> <!-- #INCLUDE FILE="http://the_other_server/mods/slash.asp" -->
my Itranet gives the following error:
Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0126' Include file not found /TMPbfwhyh16l4.asp, line 6 The include file 'http://the_other_server/config.asp' was not found.
But the file IS there!?
Can anyone please help me?
Thanks in advance, Rebel without Applause.

animedj; I have been using Slash for a while and it works great. Recently, I move my webhosting and and installed again the Slash Mod, it does not work. When I go to Slash_admin.asp, it only display the table and the form. Then when I click "Update" button, it says "SLASH MOD WAS UPDATED." but nothing display at the bottom of the table.
Also on the file slash_demo.asp where I want to display the posts. It display nothing but a empty blank white page.
Do you know why???

hmm.. first I would say check jsTester.htm in the mods directory if you get some output or not. If you see something, then slashmod can pull out the configuration from the database, maybe the table doesn't exist or something like that... if you don't see any output then it might that the database connection is wrong.

the jsTester.htm does not show anything but a blank white page. When I view the source from browser, it shows only the header and footer HTML tags
