I have installed the ver3.1 sr4 forum.....get the following error

ADODB.Connection.1 error '800a0bb9'

The application is using arguments that are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another.

inc_top.asp, line 42


any clues pleas????

You may not have the correct connection string, or perhaps your server needs newer ado drivers. You can get the latest MDAC from www.microsoft.com/data

My server uses the Linux os on a Cobalt RaQ4 and chillisoft ASP .....
is this OK or do you still favour the Drivers?
If it is the driver then I assume I have to advise the hosting company?

Skip MDAC then, MDAC is for Microsoft Windows machines.
