You have to make sure you modifed your config.asp first, which is where you set up the database type that you are using and the connection string to the database. If you need help with that there is a utility called WHEREAMI.asp off the download page on http://forum.snitz.com

After that is all proper, go to http://yourDomainAndForumDir/setup.asp

This will populate the database with the necessary initial fields and will also tell you if your connection string and database types were setup correctly.
