How can I get my name to display and show my rank as Admin?
So far every post I make shows my name as Admin. I've changed every instance of the word 'Admin' within the database to my normal screen name and that doesn't seem to help.
I've tried editing my profile but Screen name is the only field I can't edit.
Also, when do the stars start displaying? There isn't a specific number of posts necessary for the Admin and yet I have no stars.
Ah, the minor glitches...hehe. At least the forum works. =)

First Off, leave every instance of Admin alone. Do not change anything for your Admin account.
Register and create your own username (if you have not already done so), then login as Admin go to members.asp and look for your username. On the far right side you will see a pencil to edit that member, click it on. In the Modify User Profile window that appears scroll down to where it says Member Level: and give that username Administrator rights. Logoff as Admin then Logon with your username.
In Admin Options click on Ranking Configuration and you can change the settings for the stars there.

WooHoo! That worked. Thanks.
Still no stars, but I'll wait and see what happens with further posts.

If you want your Username to show more stars, go to Admin Options click on Ranking Configuration and see (or change) what # of Posts is set to. Either change the # of posts required for each one (or leave it alone).
Go to members.asp (as an Administrator) and look for your username and edit it again, then in Modify User Profile window look down to where it says # of Posts:, change the # of Posts to 1 over the number of posts required for that level and it will bump you up. Only problem with that is it will say you have xxxx amount of Posts now when in reality you don't.

hehe, I can cheat. woohoo!
Actually I'll wait and earn them. I setup the color of stars for the number of posts already and the ranking, but what determines the number of stars that are displayed?

Each member level will gain a star for each level they move up.
Member level 1 users will have 1 star. Member level 2 users will have 2 stars. Member level 3 ............... 3 stars. Member level 4 ............... 4 stars. Member level 5 users will have 5 stars.
Admins and Moderators follow the same rules.
