View the source of the smilies popup. Post it here.

Did you put all your smilies in a forum/smilies/ directory?

You've found the problem. Here's what it says in the source.

<td bgcolor="black"><a href="Javascript:insertsmilie('');"><img alt border="0" hspace="10" src="http://forum.snitz.com/forum/smilies/3some.gif"></a></td>

Now it's going to http://forum.snitz.com but I didn't say that was where the forum is.

I followed the readme exactly and have made the folder 'smilies' in the forum folder.

The source should not be pointing to forum.snitz.com/forum. Your forum configuration is wrong.

I just added additional smilies in my forum by adding them to pop_icon_legend.asp and editing inc_functions.asp. It works fine without having trouble caused by a database update.

If somebdoy is interested, I make a zip file with the instructions and a few smilies.

Demo is available here: http://www.internetschach.de/internetschach/default.asp
