hi!

i have the following problem: i want to set up a snitz forum, but i do not want to force the users to register. i want the users to be able to post without registering.

is this possible with snitz foum? i could not find an appropriate option anywhere...

thanks for the links!

the idea with an guest account is good, but it could even be extended further: you could add this guest account; and then you could set a cookie with this login-info before the forum is launched. then you would simply have to remove the "logout"-button from inc_top.asp and everything will be fine: the user will always be guest, and will always be able to post.

i know that this works, because i did something very similar for a page that our company is building for one of our customers.

Then what about users that want to register or are already registered?
I have done it differently that it allows both registered users and anonymous to post if they want.

Some users want to be a part of the community, and some just want to leave a message, without registering and you don't see them after that.
