Anyone interested in helping my try to get my darn post times set correctly? Im using the source from eastpasco.com (HuwR's forum base) and there is no option to NOT adjust the server offset time. The server resides in the same timezone as I do, but theres no option to set it to 0 offset. The offset times allow for -12 hours to +13 hours but anything in the middle of that range is still WAY WAY WAYYY off.

Anyone interested in looking into it, all you have to do is start the registration process to look at the offset time available. This list is used for both the server and member time offsets, you what you see on the member registration is what you'll see on the server date/time configuration.

Just a little frustrated..had a member post this morning (in the same time zone) and the post read that it was added tomorrow at 10:30PM

Thanks all.

first of all, you have run the timezone update file several times, since you have about 4 of each time zone.

Secondly, this is not an offset setting, you select the timezone in which you reside and which to view times, and as admin you set the default timezone for the forum, which users who are not mebers see.
There have also been some fixes since the original code, so you may need to hunt them down

You should empty your timezone table and then re-run the setup. Do not run it more than once, you will just duplicate the values in the table.

Thanks HuwR! I will most certainly do so with the database, however first, I need to find a setup for that. It dont look like it was included in my zip. Does the the original and the "fix" use the same database fields? I just dont want to run an "incompatible" or different DB setup for it.
