i finally figured out what i was doing wrong with the database problem but now, the database is set and i get a success on the setup but then when i try and goto the link for entering the admin on the default page i just get an error http 500.

am i supposed to have some other html files or something?

if anyone wants to just help me take a look and just fix whatever, the info is...

login: projectandi
password: testing

is where i get the error.

setup seems to be working for the database tho.

It's missing the inc_footer.asp file..

ive set up on brinkster too, but i can't work out how to set the database up, it kees saying i got it wrong, i.e.

The database could not be opened !!
Check your config.asp file and set the
strConnString so it points to the database.
Also check if strDBType is set to the right databasetype.

so what IS the database type and how do i configure it?

sure thing, i basically just searched for brinkster on this forum and came up with this link that answered my little problem with the database linkage.

you can just copy&paste for brinkster and edit the yourname area

ans there was not a db directory when i first logged on, i had to make it myself
