Is there a way to change how the buttons format the text.
For example - if you have the word: text then you highlight it and click on the bold icon, or change font. You would recive: text[b.][/b.]
How would you go about changing the logic so that when you highlight text the tags are placed either side of what is highlighted as in [b.]text[/b.].
Hope that makes sense. This would I think make more sense to people.
(Sorry about the "."'s only way I could think to do them).
Thanks Az

sure, I have more for glow, shadow and so forth as well, I will get a collection put together and post them here shortly. Dayve
I have the necessary code for glow and shadow; but I want them to be customizable. For example:
[glow=yellow,3,200]glowing text[/glow]
Users should have a chance to change these values...
Can we do this?
Thanks...

sure, I am already doing something like that with custom colors courtesy of Iron Heart. I would make it so the syntax is something like what he did here:
[c=ff0000=]dark red[/c]
this enables me to use hex values to be passed in the font tag so I will use this concept for the glow color and strength attribs.
