When i register, i fill in username and password x2, it says it was all ok. i go to login an says it failed. i check in my mysql admin window and see that 'M Username' field is empty. It has taken the username from the form, and put it in as the 'M Name', as well as the password.

I am running the 3.1 SR 4 with update on MySQL.

Thanks

M_USERNAME is only used with NT Authentication.

Any ideas why it's failing to register new ppl? The admin is the only one that works. the only mods i've made is the update and name changes to make the thing work.

When i go to 'members' under title it says 'error'. If i go in to edit the member as the admin and change NOTHING it works because it then gives an entry in M_LEVEL which it doesn't fill in in the original registration.

Another weird thing is that if i don't log in and just fill in username & pwd when i want to post - it posts ok.

Thanks

It's fixed. Needed to set a default value of 1 for the mysql table in M_LEVEL.
