what exactly do i need on my web server to be able to host a snitz forum? i ask this becuase i can't, as of yet, afford any expensive alternatives.

Ask your server if they support ASP. That's all.

i think there are some alternatives in the category listings. I am sure there are some free hosting sites that support asp and write capabilities...

i tried with angelfire, and they do not support ASP and Access. Try brinkster.com (no FTP), or cfm-resources.com. They are built for people to use ASP pages. Good luck
