Is there a user-rating mod like the rating system that UBB6 has? If there is, can someone point me in the direction of a download? Thanks Brandon

Is this ranking an average of all submissions? Can a member rate another member more than once? Can a guest rate a memeber? All things that need to be answered before a mod can be created.

I've seen this too on INFOPOP's boards. You can click on a link below the members name that shows "Rate This Member" and then it displays a mini voting area. I am going to get some screen shots right now...brb...

No, a guest cant rate a member, and yes it is an average. Check out http://www.infopop.com 's communities if you need an example. Under each member's name there is a link that says "Member Rated" with stars that show the average of what people think of this member.

I'd just want to get all the specs ironed out before attempting a mod like this. Not that I have the FREE time for it, but hey I could scrounge up a free min or 2 for a few lines of code.
Also, where is the members rating displayed? How is it displayed? Stars, #, %, etc?

well, since you are making a rating system, how about making it usable for other part of the forum? like topics. replies, photos, what ever one want to rate.
on the member rating, well, in my opinion only member can rate, while one can rate once in a period specified by the admin. maybe at the first sight one may give a low rate, later he may want to change it. though I don't know how to reflect it exactly.
I also suggested a statistics page like the one on topics. sort by highest rating (then by # of rates, paging needed) or by # of rates then by highest/lowest.
i'd like to use it in a member art work collection if possible. as well as topics (news, articles etc)
btw, there's a rating sys in link mod.
while someone, sorry i forget whom is working on an photo upload mod with rating.
