Ignore topic is more useful than ignore author. as non threaded, ignore authore will be difficult and you can ignore thread instead.
e.g. in the dev/bug forum, i read some topics that i know not related to my installation and don't want to read it any more. however, the topic might be active and it keeps coming up to the top, some times i might forget what it is and look again.l this is a waste of time and traffic.
any body have the same desire?
