Get it here: http://forum.snitz.com/specs.asp

<li>The planned fix for "foreign characters" has been included.</li>
<li>No other new features since beta 5, just fixed a few remaining bugs.</li>

This is now the new official release and replaces Service Release 2.
The forums here at Snitz now run this Version 3.1 final.

The upgrade for the database can be done using the setup.asp page. As long as you are using Version 3.0 RC 1 or newer (that is everything since about july 2000).

<li>Just overwrite the asp-files there with the files in the zip</li>
<li>Edit the config.asp so it points to the right database at the right location again</li>
<li>It is advised that you backup the database first if you can (it is wise to do that now and then anyhow)</li>
<li>Run setup.asp and have it update the database</li>

Finished.

I didnt see the "NT Groups for Private Forum" in this version.

I will setup a test forum 3.1 final and add in the mods. I will also have this ready for download. This will give the team some time to check out the code.

FYI Gor
I had to manualy add the database fields to update. Also ONLY the Topics with replys had the last user name set after update. All the single topics where set to "". The Problem is the forum would not show the topics if this is not set. I manualy updated the database and all was OK.
