cheers, ive checked out some CGI ones, but all of them are difficult to install or really expensive...

no joy there im afriad, there were a couple, but the one i tired was buggy...
i wonder if any of the ppl in the mod forums will have any...
(ohh, remembers the elist thing he downloaded as a mod...i think ill ask for that to be modified!)

i found one which uses a third party email account to redirect the mail to all the ppl on the list, pretty strange, but it work, im using 230 ppl on it, and its been ok so far.

I saw a free service out there that you copy the mail list to your db in your a/c with them, and do all things in their site. free when less than 1000 user. Just can't find the link as i reinstalled the system before backing up my url collection.
i'll try to find it out again.

yes I need it badly.my host has a one but as i offered everyone.net email plug in, which required to change mx, i can't use the isp one.
need subscribe/unsub on site, and by email, to ML groups or categories.
hide member address to each other, address their name uniqly in the mail.can't call others this time.
btw, if groups are created, we also need groups in snitz, and categories also.

I apologize (again and again...) 4 my bad english... but I've understood that you need it as soon as possible... ok, don't worry. Let me know also if a users can modify his profile, if the user pwd must be random and sent to his email or choosed... and so on...
pls if I've not understood well stop me asap!!!!

why apologize? English is not my native lan either. 
I think we should look around the free resources first, there must be something already exist.
didn't think about the password. just mail back the sender and wait for his/her aproval before validate the address,also if no response for x days, delete it automatically.
then they can just sub/unsub by email or by visiting your site.
btw, i just found that jmail is the only choice for me, no other mail system is installed on my host server.

Ok for jmail, I'll download it and then test routines  .
Let's go on.... when u talk about "mailing list" u want mean that when someone writes an email to "mailing@server.com" this email will auomatically redirect to all users that have subscribed this ML ? In this case the problem is "how" activate an ASP code each time...
If you intend, instead, that only you (or other admins) have the rights to send automatically an email to a list of users the problem is (if needed) how to attach files (I use an hyperlink to my site). This work is already running in 2 my domains and ready to download but needs to be modified to work with groups... no problem to do this
I'll wait for your ideas about it...

just me send out messages. not redirect usr posts. i accidentally subscribed to such one once, a nightmare. and that's the kind my host offering, of course you can config how to use it.
well. i digest and send out, people subscrib.
