uhhh, don't see how that has anything to do with the mod. Did that error occur after you installed the ban ip mod? Did you copy the code from the zip file to your files or did you overwrite your forum files with the ones from the zip?

well, i did copy the code over, but i have tryed installing the one from the zip once id added my db info but i still get the same error...ive been thinking about it all day, the IP mod was the only mod i did last night... http //36-degrees.co.uk/cgi-bin/forum/

is thereanyway of removing the peice of the database so i can try and return my forum to the way it was before, im going to upload all of the previous files i was using, but without MSaccess 2000 i dont think i can sort the DB out...

hmmm.well ive returned all of the previous versions of the filesi have, which means that it should be working...but evidently, its not...its been down for almost 36 hours now, people are going to lynch me when they see me... ... i need help, and quick....

well, not many moderators are gonna check a topic that someone is asking help for with a mod they don't know anything about. So currently I'm the only one helping you right now.
So you deleted the ban ip mod code from your forum files and the problem still exists? The ban ip database fields in your database won't have any effect on the forum.
If you returned to the previous versions you had, and it still doesn't work, you could try uploading a clean config.asp file from the zip and see if it works. Although if you have a lot of mods installed you are gonna get an error for them.
If anything you could post the error you are getting in the Help: General forum so others can try to help you, since this error is not directly caused by ban ip mod.
