aslo get this error now ?

i am sure it is because the server runs chillisoft asp, as it works perfect on my win2000

any help would be realy apreciated

That's a different looking config.asp file, but try using this connection string instead of the one you're using.

strConnString = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=" & Server.MapPath("/track3/v3/snitz_forums_2000.mdb") '## MS Access 2000 using virtual path

now i get this error ? iahve been to the chillisoft site and can fined no reference to this error? (starting to think i will never get it runing)

For one, villa why is your config file looking like that?

Second, download the Where Am I? file from http://forum.snitz.com/archive/default.asp?catid=11&cattitle=Forum+Setup+Tools and upload the .asp file to where your database is. Then go to it using your browser. It will tell you the direct path to your database.

Are you sure you're using a database system that is supported by Snitz?

i don't think os actualy as it all works fine on my win2k just not the hosts linux box
