I don't know if this is the right forum to post this message in but this is driving me crazy.
I am running my forum on Access 2000 and it has been converted. Everything works fine as I can see. I can login as Admin using default username and pass. I can change my password with no problems. When I try to log back in using the new password it won't let me. To make this more strange when I try to log back in using the default username and pass, it won't let me. I have checked the database after changing the password and it is still the default username and password, but if that's the case, why can't I still log back in using the default username and password.
I have Read/Write permissions set on my fpdb folder and on the .mdb itself. Why is the new data not being stored and recalled?
I would appreciate any help on this problem. Thanks ladies and gentlemen!
I have figured it out! I thought it might be this, but I just verified it. The password I was using had asterisks (*). I had to change my password to something totally different not involving asterisks and everything is working smoothly. Thanks for the help!
