stuF,
The files in that .zip file, I was messing with to try and get them to work with Tim's forum.
If you open my_theme.asp and change (on line #9 and #11):
Request.Cookies(strCookieURL & "User")("Name")
to
Request.Cookies(strUniqueID & "User")("Name")
it should work.

Yes, you are right. You'll need to edit both files to add more themes. |

For my personal reference purposes can anyone see any problem with this string. particularly the part in red as that is where it is returning the errors from
if strDBType = "mysql" then strSql = strSql & ",KEY " & TablePrefix & strTableName & "_" & idFieldName & "(" & idFieldName & "))" else strSql = strSql & ")"
this is a portion of Mod_dbsetup.asp I tried to correct it and correct the syntax error I am recieving, however am but a mere rookie in the world of .asp and haven't a clue where the problem lies here. this is the original string free of my tinkering.

You might want to give this a shot. http://www.colorschemer.com/online/
They have a free app available also but I found it not as user friendly.

I'll be working on an addition to this that will allow an admin to easily ( I hope ) add color schemes and not have to change code. It will store the relevant variables in a table and users will select it from there rather than it being entirely hard coded.

Richard, could I trouble you to look at that line again, this time in the one you sent me. It appears that if the IDfield in the .dbs is blank it causes a syntax error. I, fixed it for myself, haven't a clue how, but I got it to work none the less.I figgured you may want to look at that and see if you can correct it properly, save yourself some of these inquiries as to why it won't work.
And thanx for your help, here and in the MySQL board.
