I would like to have a "naked" top on my Registration page. I was able to remove it on the POLICY.ASP page, by removing the INC_TOP.ASP include line.. but when I tried to do the same thing on the REGISTER.ASP page, it spit up on me.

Any assistance in how to accomplish this would be appreciated!

Thx for the help again!

try using inc_top_short.asp although you might still get some errors.

There are things that are setup in inc_top.asp that are needed by other parts of the forum. You can't just remove it.

I'll try that.. otherwise.. is there a way to jes not display the USERNAME/PW option and the listing of "profile/members/faq" etc that displays on the top right corner?

I'd like to have the registration page jes plain, without having all those other options avail until the person is actually a member. I'm not wanting anyone outside of members to gain access to anything to do with the forum information. (make sense?)

Thx !

I think something for this has been posted before. Basically you can check for the existence of the forum cookie, if it's available show the links, if not, don't show them.

something like:

if strDBNTUSerName <> "" then
show links
end if
