Hello snitzers,
I'm setting up my forum and just found out that when anyone post a topic it cant not be read. When you click on the topic it goes back to same place the topic title and it wont display the actual message.
any1 having the same problems or suggestions on how to fix this.
Thanks,
Nelson R.

Can you post a link to your forum so we can see the problem?

It seems your topic.asp file is the same as the forum.asp file. Upload a fresh copy of the topic.asp from the zip file to your forum folder and see if that helps.

Davio, your suggestion hit the nail on the head.
but now, the actual body of the message looks bad. colors messed up and text on the wrong side.
can you please take a look. thanks

Ok, I'm at a lost as why it's doing that. Can you post a link to a txt version of your topic.asp file?

Yeah I did. But I didn't see anything wrong with it. I'm gonna check it against a clean topic.asp file.
But I'm puzzled as how you manage to get the topic.asp file the same as the forum.asp file. Unless you uploaded a copy of the forum.asp file, renamed it topic.asp then uploaded another copy of the forum.asp file.

i'm as puzzled as you are. i'm positive that i did not replaced it, but for some reason i think i deleted more code than what i was suppose to cause the file size was only 30K that's a difference of 13k. not sure what happened there.
Thanks for your help. you guys are the best.

to fix the problem with the colors, change lightgray to lightgrey
for the thing with the left side (where the poster's name is) being bigger than the right side (where the message is) you need to make a change on the Font/Table Color Code Configuration page.
Change the value for Topic Left Column Width from 100% to just 100 |
