Don't know if this has been brought up before, I searched but couldn't find anything on it.
What I'm looking to do is to manage multiple Snitz boards on different sites using the same database. I've been able to successfully create different co-branded templates that access the same DB so step one is done.
But what I'd like to do now is to be able to share some topics between sites but not others. In other words, if the forum had 3 headings such as Autos, Bikes and Cats (just to use A, B and C) and a couple topics under each heading, I'd like some to show up on one board but not on the other. So for example....
Board #1 - Topics under Autos, Bikes & Cats Board #2 - Topics under Autos & Cats Board #3 - Topics under Cats only Board #4 - Topics under Autos only
See what I mean? I suppose the topics would have to be excluded from select statement on the main page, search and active topics somehow. Any ideas on how this could be done and perhaps some sort of management tool to be able to turn on/off topics for other sites? If successful, you could syndicate your board to other sites to help with popularity of general topics without having to share ALL the topics (such as those pertaining only to your site).
Thanks in advance for your comments.
