It gives an error message:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Field 'FORUM_MEMBERS.M_FIRSTNAME' cannot be a zero-length string.

/tons1234/forum/register.asp, line 283

Please any help is appreciated

Dan

The only way I have found to fix this is to open the database up in Access and manually edit each of the fields in the FORUM_MEMBERS table and choose "Allow zero-length".

Did you happen to upgrade the Access97 db to Access2000? Doing that has caused this problem for me.
