I am about to pull out my hair with hosting! Apparently, they have sold out and the new owners don't know what they are doing most of the time, IMHO!

Can anyone tell me what's going on with this? When I upload an image within a post, it displays fine. But if I upload an image using the FTP, which is my preference, it won't display. I've even tried to replace a graphic on default.asp and it won't replace the current graphic.

What is hosting doing not/doing?!

Ma must have one of the most incompetent web hosts in the world. Every week, there's some new issue; most of which would never occur if they had properly configured IIS. Even when they are made aware of an issue, they argue that it's not part of their responsibility, deny that they caused it or that it's their equipment failure, etc.

The url has the https in the Forum Admin section, Huw. It's not all of the images that lack the https, only the few avatars that aren't displaying. And that's really no problem, members are uploading another avatar.

The major problem, apparently, at least what I have determined, is that hosting has me connecting to a server that isn't secure. So when I upload files, they aren't going to the now secure website. At least in my mind, that makes sense.

No, placing a link in the browser of a recently uploaded image doesn't work, Huw. And you're correct; the graphics uploaded are not displaying the https in the url. But what has hosting neglected to do that's causing this?

I receive a 'server certificate error' message now when I log in on the FTP.

only thing that may be related to a security certificate would be if the images did not have a https url, but that would give you a warning.

Are you able to browse directly to an image in your browser like http://forum.snitz.com/forum/images/logo_snitz_forums_2000.gif

I am a redhead, not a blonde, Huw!

The files I was uploading prior to hosting installing the security certificate were updating fine.

Today the avatars uploaded yesterday aren't displaying. All of this is happening after a recent migration but most recently after hosting finally installed my security certificate two days ago.
