A friend of mine is an English teacher at Liberty Christian Academy. She's spearheading the campaign to build a library for grades 6 - 12.

The goal is to get 1,000 books, magazines, or any other appropriate media (DVDs/CDs) from any genre by December 4th as a starter library. They can be new or gently used, and monetary donations are also welcome (the money will go towards shelving first, then books from a couple major second-hand sales coming up in the next few months).

The main point of contact is Katie Love - either at klove[at]lcknights[dot]com or 910-424-1205 (school office). The books can also be mailed to:

6548 Rockfish Rd.
Fayetteville, NC 28306

I know the audience here skews a little less US-centric, thank you for at least hearing me out.

I just realized I never followed up on this... The school doubled their goal by the time the drive was done!

Wish you had said something a couple of weeks ago, just gave away 800 books to the air force base library. Will pack up some of what's left here, I've read them all.
