Does Filezilla not support copy and pasting files directly within the client itself? I need to copy a very large directory that would be so time-consuming to have to upload AGAIN.

Posted - 03 May 2013 : 01:24:10 I just tried it with filezilla and I could drag and drop files/folders within the remote site window, to other folders on the server without any problems. It MOVES the files tho and not copy. |

Posted - 02 May 2013 : 22:56:32 That works but it won't allow me to copy an entire directory/folder to another folder, Carefree. Well, not without copying it to my hard drive and then uploading it to the new directory.
That's the reason I liked having FrontPage extensions so I could use Microsoft SharePoint Designer.

Posted - 02 May 2013 : 11:52:41 Use Windows Explorer ....
Start/Run, type "explorer ftp://(username):(password)@(ftpserver)" - replacing the parts in parentheses with actual info - and hit enter.
Then you can drag/drop without using a separate client. |
