Loaded up IIS yesterday only to get an "XML is not well-formed error" when trying to access the sites. A quick Google recommended uninstalling and reinstalling IIS, Uninstall went fine but now I can't reinstall it: "An error has occurred. Not all of the features were successfully changed.". Any suggestions? It's IIS6 on Vista Business, by the way.

Try running this command, then reboot, and try reinstalling it again.

start /w pkgmgr.exe /uu:IIS-WebServerRole;WAS-WindowsActivationService


If that doesn't fix it, take a look at this:
