Posted - 07 September 2009 : 12:21:53 Based on some of the comments I have gotten recently I am going for a new look for my programming website. I was wondering if I could get feedback from everyone on the logo design.
Below is a link to a pdf with several different versions and wanted to know if you have to pick 1 which one would it be. Also leave comments on what you would change about the 1 if you were to make changes to it please?
Thanks for all your help

Posted - 09 September 2009 : 16:38:26 Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I got about 60 peoples feedback including yours and it ended up being the middle column layout with over 50% of the votes with that one.
Then I chose to go with a different font type though and I went with green. You can all check it out here:

That's two votes for that one. |

Posted - 07 September 2009 : 13:11:06 I like the ones in the second column. The word Your is emphasized by being capitalized.
I like the blue or green one best. I like how the piece in the middle is the same color as the word Your thus drawing the conclusion that that is your piece.
I would change the top and bottom white pieces to something of a different color because the top piece gets lost in the white background. Perhaps a lighter shade of blue or green to make the middle piece pop out more. |

Posted - 07 September 2009 : 13:04:42 The site will be designed around the logo so really the color is a suggestion I like to hear what people like most. It will affect everything else is why
Thanks for the feedback. |

Posted - 07 September 2009 : 13:01:40 The top right hand one does it for me.
I like the two rows of text, it looks cleaner. The font is soft and pleasing to the eye. As for the colours, its really whatever suits the rest of the site. |
