Davio is being pulled in so many directions by his workload that I have labeled him 'The Taffy Man'. However, we are making progress.

There are many obstacles to overcome before the searchable MOD database can be implemented. Obviously, the entire framework of the current MOD pages must be rewritten -- and done so that it blends with the SnitzBitz website. We are working on that.

The MOD data itself may present a problem. Lacking a means to get the information directly from the hosting company, 'Plan B' calls for Snitz volunteers to assist. Davio has not been briefed on this approach yet, so I cannot provide more details at this time. However, I can give you a peek at the MOD prototypes.

The 'On-Line Databases' link on my website http://www.sfrvn.net has three (3) links to MOD prototypes: (1) Data page (using my color scheme) is embedded in my website page, (2) Full-page view of data page using SnitzBitz color scheme, and (3) a Full-page view (SnitzBitz color scheme) with database Edit and Add capability. (Please note that #3 is not available if you do not have edit permission.)

The 'Admin' prototype (Edit and Add) is available to website members who have 'edit' permission. I am looking for about six people to try this approach: on-line MOD management. Think of it as 'beta testing'.

Since I do not have my website membership validation module completed , I will manually create a website account that allows you to 'manage' the MOD database on-line. The data records are not synchronized with SnitzBitz, so you can actually try editing records. (Just don't destroy the database! )

Let me know if you are interested in testing the MOD database. I will take the first half-dozen people that indicate they are interested. Of course, your 'cost' to participate is a report: what did not work, what you liked, what you would like to see changed, and so on.

Thanks all...
