I know this is usually in regards to Snitz but I have just started and developed a new product I am going to be offering. I need some BETA testers that live in the US and have Unlimited Texting Plans.

Basically what this application does is you sign up and you can choose to have either Updates on how many new emails you have right to your cell phone or you can actually have the emails sent to your cell phone.

This will work with any phone that can receive a text. No need for a $300 PDA or anything like that. Also no need for a Data PLan or Internet Plan. Sorry we are in the USA right now we will be trying to expand to Europe shortly after release.

We need to get bugs and also we have an area where you can request features to be added in. This is a stripped down version with just the core functionality.

Features we will be adding: Type of message you want to receive ie: Subject only subject, first sentence, Whole message; Filters to either allow only certain domains to be texted to you or block certain domains/emails from being texted to you; Will will also let you customize the hours and times a lot more.

If you can help I would appreciate it. I am excited for this new offering. Eventually it will only cost $5 a month to have the emails sent to your phone and if you just want the update of how many emails you have that will always be free.

Great ideas Etymon I will change something in the Header to show Beta. Also I will change the me in the bottom. As far as the BETA testers go we are talking about giving 3 to 6 months worth of service free. I probably should have mentioned that. <

For folks who find bugs you may want to offer an incentive like free service or perks for a limited time. That might help expedite your problem solving issues. You mention the perks for beta testers on your site, but not in your starting post of this topic. <

Just another thought ... maybe you could put an additional image somewhere on your header so folks understand right away that you are in Beta mode. You've got the notice about being in beta mode towards the bottom of the home page. If people go to clicking on the area of their "first" interest like "What We Do" like I did, they may feel that this is a spoof of some sort. Just a thought. Looks good otherwise. <

I don't have a phone to test it for you Jeff. It sounds like a novel idea though!

On a passing note, I did see on your web site though that you use the terms we and us often. But then you use the term me just under this area:

Click Here to Ask for Features

That kind of takes away from the "bigger than one guy" feel that you promoted above it.

Maybe make that part say us instead of me and make the e-mail to fit the more of a corporate theme. That will make her right. <

Yeah I am only testing the beta functionality. The whole website will be coming later. I just put # in there so it will refresh the page. Those pages are really more text than anything real anyways.<

About Us, What We Do, and Contact Us links do not work for me.<
