Posted - 20 October 2008 : 07:26:16 Does anyone know of a decent web based document manager? Here is what I am looking for, it doesn't need to be free, but under $300 would be nice. Places the files in a secure folder. Permission based system Multi-user Can manage document types - ie, I can add them on my own (docx...) Indexes the text of the document and makes them searchable Can import multiple files at the same time
Thanks, Cliff< |

Posted - 22 October 2008 : 16:06:14 You may find some of the CMS systems and Nukes can offer what you're after for nothing-to-little cost-wise. Try dotnetnuke, CMSMS, and Joomla as freebies, they might suit.< |

There are plenty on the net, ranging from free to $11,000.< |
