Posted - 05 June 2009 : 09:28:04 Just installed a new forum for site http://trackmyshows.com at the location http://trackmyshows.com/forum/ go give them a look. If your intrested in watching TV you may find the site intresting. If not while you can tell me what you think.
Ok now for questions. If I wanted to set up a forums for a set of related sites is there a way to list links back to all the sites and or keep track of the site that sent you to the forum so that the home button would send you back to the referring site?
Thanks

Posted - 07 June 2009 : 01:06:20 That looks a lot better. The Site Integration MOD can be found at www.SnitzBitz.com . There should be some topics on how to figure it out here at Snitz if you get stuck on it. It's one of the most popular MODs and has been around for a while.
You're doing great! |

I took you up on the advice. Thanks for the idea I was not even thinking I could make it feel like the rest of my site. I was able to apply the styles of my site (while sorta) At the very least I now have the header on my site almost the same as header in the forums. I really apriciate the pointing of where the header file can be edited at.

Posted - 05 June 2009 : 17:01:51 I like the site, but you may want to work a little on integrating the look and feel of the site on your forum. Change some of the default colors to match the same palate as the rest of your site. Make a logo image to replace the default Snitz logo in the upper-left. Maybe use the Site Integration MOD to pull some of the site nav into your forum's layout. Either that or edit inc_header.asp 'till it matches better.
As to your other question, you may want to post it as a separate topic in the appropriate forum. |
