One way to do it, although not ideal, would be to install the message icon mod and, if users are posting a question have them use the question mark icon and, once the problem is solved, have them edit the original post to change the message icon to something else. Like I said, not a perfect solution but worth a try ...
This is something we've done and i think it is perfect ;)< |

Posted - 27 July 2003 : 14:54:40 Thanks. Perhaps Nikkol and I both had good ideas, but we dont explain ourselves very well. This is the wrong forum for it and it owul dbe a better add on if someone had the know how. Thanks cliff..< |

Posted - 30 June 2003 : 21:57:17 It might be a good MOD Cliff, but instantnet11 posted this in the "FAQ Addition Requests" forum, which he probably misunderstood to mean "request additional features for snitz" ... my reply was pointing out that the developers of Snitz are not going to add this to the base code because it is too specific a request. Not everyone would want to label their posts as "solved".< |

Posted - 30 June 2003 : 21:24:54 Nikkol, I don't agree. I also use the macromedia forum and really like the "solved" idea. Just because it is solved, doesn't mean someone might not offer another suggestion, so I don't lock them.
This would be a great mod.< |

Posted - 30 June 2003 : 16:18:41 Just lock the forum if it is "solved". Not everyone uses forums for answering questions, so a request such as this is much too specific.< |
