Has anyone any suggestions for an integrated chat room to use with Snitz?

I'm currently using: 'ZBit Chat 2.3 Build 016' which up to Internet Explorer 11 worked reasonably well, it still works ok with Chrome and Firefox but won't load in IE

The developers are no longer available so unless it can be updated to work it looks like a change is in order

Thanks

Doesn't require virtual "memory" but a virtual "directory". Maybe your host does not understand what is needed.

I suppresses the function of chat rooms. Because my host after several request has not created the virtual memory necessary for operation of the chat.

AOL was worse, especially for the forgetful seniors. My elderly customers would call and cancel their AOL subscriptions, but AOL would continue billing them, often for years. The old people would consider the cost of hiring a lawyer to intercede would be more than they were losing to AOL, and just let it go. I know at least 50 of my elderly customers near Cleveland OH * appx 25 USD per month ... now multiply that times the hundreds of thousands that AOL probably bilked each year, and it adds up to a vast amount of money.

Well after a lot of hassle and fuss I finally got the following email from Microsoft in response to a lengthy one I sent including a message from our hosts confirming no spam was being sent from the server...

quote:
Hello,

We have received response from Antispam team and they resolved your issue.

Thank you again for contacting Microsoft Online Services technical support and giving us the opportunity to serve you.

Sincerely,

Sumeet Bagde

Alleluia, at last, and all emails seem to be being received now by their recipients

Once MS sent me a message about a new spam filter ... and their spam filter sent it right to the junk. LOL Appropriate

Oooh the irony.... a confirmation email re my enrolment into Microsoft's SNDS ended up in my Junk Mail folder

Unless your postal workers act like those in the USA.... There's a reason they call insane behavior "going postal". Fax machine may be the safer, albeit more expensive, method.
Webbo Posted - 17 November 2015 : 13:42:11
Likewise I'm enrolled in their SNDS so we'll see what happens.

It's a bu66er though when you have to jump through hoops to try to send someone an email because someone else decrees you're not worthy. It'll be easier to bring back the fax machine or stick a stamp on it before long

Well, I guess submitting the form got someone over there to actually check. It's like internet providers whose help desks claim there's no problem ... but magically, when they "check" the modem remotely, the issue is resolved.

well, ain't that odd considering I have done bugger all and they said it wasn't a problem ????? hmmmm
Carefree Posted - 17 November 2015 : 08:47:59
It's working again, HuwR. Received the email.
HuwR Posted - 17 November 2015 : 08:27:36
Ok, I have registered for their 'Smart Network Data service' to see if I can monitor emails to their servers from mine, so maybe that will help, who knows.
Webbo Posted - 17 November 2015 : 08:01:32
That appears to be the case Huw, or is it more sinister - you can send email if you subscribe to their Office365 service
