Just to liven up this part of the forum as nothing much gets worked on these days ....

How about a 'Status:' field within a member's profile that would be a text field of say 100 characters that they could write into and would display within the mini profile cell at the side of their posts & replies under their country and post count provided their post count was 100+ ?

Is this do-able?

Good idea using the Latest News field

I've coded it into my forum and it works but I've got a couple of tweeks to do then will post the changes - so far so good :)

I'm sure its do-able, the question is how involved do you want to get?

Probably the easiest thing would be to limit the "Latest News" field that already exists in the members profile to 100 characters and pull from there.
