is there a mod, like the feature poll from the poll mod that allows you to feature a post, or even put up an important message in the main default page. I wish to notify people when the forum is going to be down by posting it on the main page at the top like it does when you feature a poll.
something like this exist? if not it could be helpful to some people. |

There is a Front Page News MOD that will do this. I have it installed on my forum and use it from time to time for important announcements that I want to be sure everyone will see.
You can get it from SnitzBitz by clicking here.
It's been awhile since I installed it on my forum. I remember I had to make some minor changes but nothing too serious. If you run into problems you could always post about it here to get help. |
