This is just a quick question.

Is there a MOD floating around out there that would make it so you don't have only one post on a page? I mean, like on my forums, many of my members have complained of how they go into a topic to the last page, and there's only one post, so they have to wait to load the previous page to read those posts and it's just a bother. Is there a way to make it so that I could have 20 posts on one page, but it doesn't get limited to 20 until the topic reaches 25 posts or something (that way you have 5 posts on the new page rather than just one)?

there may be a mod around that allows users to change the page size for themselves, this may be enough for your needs as the end user could then set the page size to a different value.

No, and it wouldn't be that good an idea either as it would involve another request to the database (the fewer requests on the db the better)

[rant] education is about teaching people how things work, not changing them because people think it should be done a different way. ALL paged things work this way[/rantover]
