I would like to have a classifieds section where they can post to the classifieds for a flat rate fee of $2.00 Is there a way that I can make this happen? I am fairly new at asp.<

Cool, that will work temporarily until I either figure out how to automate it or get someone to figure out the code for me. I thought if I turned on moderation it would be for all forums which I obviously didn't want. Didn't know that you could do it for each individual forum.

Is vbulletin really that much better than snitz (worth $180) for a guy like me that might struggle rebuilding a forum to do what I want it to do? When I looked at it, it didn't seem to have that much better features. It did have the paypal feature, but don't think I want to pay $180 just for that, I can work that out on my own over time or get someone to help me. But if it has lots of other features I guess I might would try it.<

If you don't mind doing it manually you could turn on moderation of all posts for that forum. Then when the user creates a new post it is set in moderation que. It wont be made public until a staff member moderates it and approves it. Of course with this, you can see if the user has paid. If the user has paid then you'll approve the post. If the user has not paid you can delete or hold the post until payment is received and then you approve it.<

I wouldn't even mind if I had to manually allow each new topic to be added. I would want users to be able to post in the topics within the category, just not post new topics without paying. Possible?<

I am sure it can be done with paypal IPN stuff. I know vbulletin has this feature by default and I have seen people modify snitz to do the same so I am sure it can be done. Just need someone to do it <
