I would like to add a new tag that would create a new url string for jpgs and gifs.

The user would use this when he wants a linked picture to show up on the page (thumbnail viewer).

So the new tag [tn] [/tn] would create a url but instead of it saying target = _blank, it would say rel = "thumbnail".

How would I do this?
