I know that the title may not be clearly defined, but I just made a new forum that will be getting many users but only a certain amount of those will be granted access to the allowed member part of the forum.
What I'm looking for is:: is there any mods or anything in regards of taking the member list adding a checkbox (only seen by the admin) that they could then just mark. This would then be able to correlate with the allowed members only forum. Instead of going to each category's forum and filing through a long list of users and bringing selecting each user to then mark them as allowed members.
something simple like a checkbox marking them as allowed members as well as a possible checkbox for the particular forums- a click in each box of the forum next to the name of the person so each member is granted access to a particular set of boards? (I hope that made sense)< |

yeah, I saw that after I looked for the user group mod. I installed the mod- and it doesnt exaclty work the way I was hoping, but it still works.
I guess I was kind of looking for a mod that as the admin, I could pull up names with a bunch of categories/topics and see a row of names and checkboxes with columns of categories/topics.
I would then be able to click on the checkboxes stating which user was allowed access to which site, instead of me knowing the ids of the users, or using that little box to scroll through the names. This way, everything could be listed on one page.< |

Only the User Groups mod would allow you something like that.< |
