I have been looking for a way to include content from specific topics into other asp pages on my site. I experimented with a modified version of the pop_printer_friendly.asp file, and I was able to insert it as part of another asp file by using a java script. However, it's not looking good, as I can't get the java script to span the hight as a 100% value, it needs to be predetermined as a solid value I believe. Is there another way of doing this?

This is the java script I used:
<object type="text/x-scriptlet" height="100%" width="100%" data="http://www.mydomain.com/forum/pop_mod_printer_fiendly.asp?TOPIC_ID=0000"><

I've got a simple article mod.

Just click any of the topic's in the following forum to then be linked my article.asp page
With some work you can add in replys as comments etc etc

It's very basic and simple to set up.

However I'll suggest Content Display mod very easy and configerable when u understand how it works<

Me as a newbie found it very easy to use Content Display mod on my site (I did get a little bit of help from Image). Have a look at my site and see if it is something similar that you are looking for. In that case I'll be happy to show you how it is done - free of charge of course.<

What about for e fee?

We could drop the java script thing. If there is a programmer that would help me work out an asp include function mod that would display the body text of a forum topic on another page, I would be willing to pay a fee. It does not mater if I would have to hard code the id of every topic to display. If interested, please email me for details.<

It seams as none of those mods available does exactly what I need them to do. The function I am looking for is to display all of the text for a specific topic (not the x number of last topics from a forum) on another page. I am want to use it to discuss and display comments to specific articles that I write. The java script works perfectly, except for displaying the text independently of the length (height).

I'd be extremely happy if someone could aid by suggestion a way to fix it. <

right, there was a simple mod called Slash, you could try searching in the archives, if you can't find it there, drop me an email and I will see if I have a copy tucked away somewhere, actually, try looking for one of the RSS mods, that may work fine for what you want<

Yes, and I don't want to start messing with the Content Display mod, as the readme text is not clear enough for me. I already use the syndication mod, but you can't display the topics using it. I really was just looking for something really simple like this.<
