Does anyone have a Snitz forum site that has the Event Cal mod implemented? Would you be willing to give me a test username/password for me to try it out>

I just installed and successfuly run today Snitz forum and I would like to add calendaring but before doing so, I'd like to see one that's actually running.

Your comments about the event cal mod will be greately appreciated.

Thanks.<

Does the calendar allow registered members to post an event? And does the calendar look like the 2004 hall of fame awardee's calendar page:

In the cal.config.asp you are able to set the member level allowed to post events. Yes, it is similar to the example you have found.

' Admins only = 4, Admins and Moderators = 3, All Members = 2
Const intCalMLev = 2

I'm running an old, heavily customised, version but members can post events (TV Programs). I didn't change the code to change the access but I did change some of the headers that run it .... but I don't let members post at all <

I don't think members can post an event, though I'm not sure. The overall forum looks, calendar included, are customized.<

Panhandler is right. You will need admin rights to have a clear view of the relevant functionality.<

I installed it on a now defunct forum several years ago.
It worked as advertised. I was quite pleased with it.

I think you need to have an admin level password to use it though
. . .so you might not get to play with it on anyone's site.
