Edit. Sorry meant to be in WO/Code.

Just curious as to how much work would be involved in this project.

Private messages are turned on or off to all members but I'm thinking of a mod to two mods that would allow admin to select whether PM's are allowed the same way forums in the usergroups mod.
I have created a not so nice area for some members since installing the usergroups mod now I get constant PM's. Removing PM rights from them would also help enforce the message I think.

Oh I did block them after the 3rd message but they can still pm the mods <

Problem Sorted. I think although not tested.

I've used the block function on the IP Gate mod to block access to pm_view.asp, privateread.asp and privatesend.asp. So in blocking the user I should just be blocking the users access to private messages.

Or has anyone managed to add the option for Admin to toggle PM's on or off through a members profile?

I'm a copy and paste coder and not sure where to start but thinking along the ideas of within the navigation of inc_header to check the member status for pm's and show or not show the link as required.

This would not be as good as adding the feature to the Usergroups settings but could still work. Maybe easier to acomplish <
