I did a search and could not find a mod for this. What I am looking for is a way that users can subscribe to specific topics and forums that will be displayed in "My Forums" section of the forum. I know other forums have this option but can not find anything like it here.

Any suggestions?<

Surely this should only be a modfication of default.asp to pull up only the forums/topics that the user has subscribed to.

I will have a look into it.<

I should add I know about My Subscriptions link but that does not tell you if their are new messages or replies. Also no option to turn on/off email notifications.<

Thanks but that is not what I am talking about. That sends you emails when someone post to whatever subscriptions you have. What I want is on some forums you go to a page that a user configures to only show what topics or forums that they want to see (subscribed to). You have an option to get emails or not. Basically the user goes to that page and sees all the topics and forums that they selected.

Here is a picture from another forum

Its already built into the basecode. Enable subscriptions in the admin area then edit each category and forum according to your needs.
There is a link to a users subscriptions on the top right of the forum.

Tutorial: Set up Subscriptions (requires Flash)<
