Posted - 02 February 2006 : 04:52:32 I am finnaly working on my forum and am converting Snitz to full CSS. So is there any interest for it out there? If so I can upload the unfinished demo files this weekend for a rough overview/review.
The package will be slightly larger than base Snitz, as I allready added a few mods to make my life easier (Links Manager, Avatars & a few add-ons, Polls,Private Messages with the recent security updates by Marcel) + a few tweaks (making New Posts links bold; making the breadcrumb navigation a two line thing like the new vBulletin does; etc.).< |

Posted - 23 August 2007 : 12:42:53 It was... don't know if it still is. It was always my plan to pick it up and run with it, but I haven't been able to come up with the time. =/< |

Posted - 25 November 2006 : 14:07:37 CSS is not really an extension to HTML, it is a means of formatting HTML rather than an actual extension to HTML itself< |

Posted - 25 November 2006 : 12:52:28 boh... I don't know if it works... but I'll try donloading it! :D and by the way, I want to start a site, and I know HTML, but not ASP, people tell me that CSS is like an HTML extension, so I think I'll try your CSS snitz forum! :D< |

Posted - 06 April 2006 : 20:42:54 Ouch. That's why I finally broke down and got a 300GB external hard drive... I kept having nightmares of my home file server crashing and taking all my MP3s, photos, web sites, etc. with it.< |

Posted - 06 April 2006 : 15:58:39 I've just had my second Western Digital drive fail on me so I know what its like. I managed to get it *working* for a short time by using it as a slave and copying what data was left to a new drive.
I had been thinking about setting up an external hard drive or a share on another computer and schedule weekly backups. Wish I had now.< |

Posted - 06 April 2006 : 15:01:49 I lost roughly two thirds of my non profit projects like Snitz and the only two of my importaint mailboxes to bad sectors. Smartly, I had no backups because it was a fresh intall and the hard drive wasn't all that old.< |

Hope you didn't loose too much...< |

Posted - 06 April 2006 : 08:54:08 Just a quick update; everything was ready to go to launch, and my hard drive melted and all the files were lost. As I am in the middle of trying to learn .NET for a course i am taking I have no update on when it will be done.
Sorry everyone.< |

Posted - 16 February 2006 : 09:53:44 I seem to remember another attempt at a SpeedBall III having been started a while back... one that used almost no tables ... but I don't think I've seen anything on it since the first run at it...
I only bring it up because when I went to save it I noticed I already had a "SpeedBall III" downloaded and a link to that topic. I think it was going to be called "SpeedBall Pro" or something to that effect. It was here: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=56107
Might be worth while to see if there's any ideas over there to borrow...< |
