Posted - 25 January 2006 : 04:59:07 I can't find a free "hot or not" script written in ASP, what I'm talking about is a page where the visitor is presented with a picture and can select "hot" or "not" (or maybe a grade from 1-10). Another version is the visitor is presented with TWO pictures and can select the best of the two(who's cuter?). The results are stored in the db and a top 10 list is presented along with the average score (where applicable).
Here are links to php versions: http://www.abynex.com/NewTemplate/flypage.php?page=hotnot http://www.abynex.com/NewTemplate/flypage.php?page=cuter
Cheap scripts, but too bad they're in php =( Can anyone find something similar in asp or maybe build one? Comments would be really great to have also =) < |

Posted - 26 May 2006 : 02:08:49 Okay, I can barely handle ASP and have never even looked at AJAX but I'll give it a try =) < |

Posted - 25 May 2006 : 23:28:55 You could easily make an ajax version similar to what I've done here:

Posted - 25 May 2006 : 15:12:59 Davecl: That would be great! =) Now that you mention it.. It wouldn't be that hard to just add voting to my existing upload script.. To have it show the top 10 pics and such will be harder I think. < |

Posted - 25 May 2006 : 10:09:56 might have a go at making a simple one of these when i get the chance,i have already made a gallery where people can upload their pics, i would imagine it wouldn't be too hard to add a simple voting thing.< |

Posted - 31 January 2006 : 05:05:56 Same here, there are lots of cool scripts out there, but all are in php. Maybe it's time to convert the whole site to php since "all" cool stuff is made in php nowadays =/ < |
