Has anyone done a featured link for OneWayMule's Links Manager Mod?
What I'd like to do is add a new field to the links table allowing one to edit the status of the link and set it to 'featured' from within the Admin Section. The link will then be featured on the links.asp page between the links nav menu and Categories/Subcategories table.
I wonder if it would be worth having an option to show a random link on each links page too.< |

Well, we had to do an unexpected run to the ER at the hospital. My son is ok now, but at the time we thought he had been bitten by a spider. We have brown recluses in this neck of the woods. Better safe than sorry.
Anyway, I didn't get the chance to look into this MOD for you. I will try again tomorrow evening.

Nice, I like the idea, not sure why I haven't thought of something like this before.
I'll include it in LM3 final.

LOL! My wife just showed her disappointment to me the other day when I installed the Links Manager on our forum and it didn't have a featured link option.
I'm not sure about the random link question. Do you mean that you want a featured random link in addition to a specific featured link?
To get a little more crazy (while I am here I might as well ask) ... are you wanting a rotating featured link option or just a static? Same question goes for the featured random link question.
I'll take a look at it tonight and let you know what I come up with.
